We had our wedding in early June 2022 at the Hideout and we can say without a doubt that it was the best decision we made in our planning process.

The staff at The HideOut are dedicated to ensuring your wedding day celebration goes off without a hitch. All in all, The HideOut has enough space to host up to 200 of your friends and family or more per request. Offering beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this is an ideal spot for you and your loved one to exchange vows. There is also a wedding ceremony site located in the middle of a meadow. Behind the lodge is the old Western-style saloon and bar. For instance, the 5,000-square-foot lodge offers five bedroom suites, complete with two kitchens and decks that are set right out on the water. The HideOut offers plenty of space for couples and guests to host events of all sizes and themes. Located just 12 miles south of Kirkwood Ski resort and close to the old Western towns of MotherLode and Lake Tahoe, The HideOut is a perfect mountainside getaway. Set against the Sierra Nevada mountain range and offering uninterrupted views of meadows, rivers, and streams, The HideOut is an event space unlike any other. We also hope to offer outdoor events to guests and the public on weekends, weather permitting, very soon! Please inquire with us directly for your private event.We are currently booked FULL for 2022. We also own a commercial building at the road that is approximately 2800sqft (a former bar) that can be available for events too, as schedules permit (we are currently trying to find a long-term restaurant tenant for this space or possible buyer, so availability will be dependent upon a potential lease or sale). We have a commercial bounce house and a 26' blow-up movie theater screen. We are open to offering special events at the Hideout, including private parties. The Lake Hawkins County Park, which has lake access for fishing, and a beach for swimming, is a 5-10 minute walk across the street and $5.00 per person per day. We have 4 undeveloped acres fenced in with the property to the north that you may explore. We also have a playground, just north of the entrance with a swing-set, monkey bars and a merry-go-round (children must be supervised at all times!). A pond has been installed along the southwest end of the property (construction recently completed, and the pond is not full yet). The property gate access is changed regularly and the individual cabin home access is changed after each guest.
The Hideout is fully fenced, with electronic gate access and exterior cameras on site for security.
